As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything, God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. Sardis Baptist is the place for you to discover your spiritual gift and how you can begin to use your spiritual gift to serve others.
Our affirmation of gifts is driven by four principles found in 1 Peter 4:10-11:
- Every believer has been given a spiritual gift for ministry.
- This gift is to be used to serve other believers.
- This gift is an extension of God’s grace, and we are called
to be good stewards of this grace. - We serve through our gift so that God may be glorified in everything.
